On the basis of previous work by modifying Noblesse's new slender ship theory, the authors study the calculation of wave profile of mono-and twin-hull ships. Adopting first approximation of the new method, as exemplified by mathematical models, the far field wave profiles are calculated. The theoretically calculated and the measured results show good agreement.

The theoretically calculated and the measured results show good agreement.
