The ground penetrating radar is a new device that can be used to detect undefined bodies by emitting and receiving pulse electromagnetic wave with high frequency and wide frequency band. According to the characters of kinematics and dynamics such as amplitude, wave form, double acting time and frequency, the structures of underground media and features of strata and rocks should be inferred and determined by the technology. Generally,there are three detecting methods including profile, broad angular and transmission measures. The profile method is used in many aspects because of low precision and imperfect effect of the broad and transmission methods. Using the profile method for the prospecting of gas bombs,to delimit chemical pollution distinct and to determine bedrock surface, a good result has been obtained in practical operation. The method is characteristic of high detecting accuracy, easy and good realtime operation. Therefore, the ground penetrating radar can be widely used in investigation of environmental pollution, operation of fundaamental engineering and geological exploration as well as pipeline seeking. Especially, the technology is very effect on the detection for anomaly body in shallow and ultrashallow section....
