The correlations between the individual age and the characters of dental structure have been studied with a Computeried Image Analyzer. The tooth samples were supplied by Oral Biology Unit of Hong Kong University. 842 teeth of Chinese inhabitants in HK have been selected. The individual age ranged from 13 to 84 years. A Kontron Image Analyzer was used for the external and internal examination of teeth. All the data of the characters of dental structure were fed into computer database system (dDBASE Ⅳ), and a statistical package for social scienees(SPSS) was run on computer for the correlation analysis. It was demonstrated that the best age correlated index were TP2', S2', T2', EP, TCI in proper order. If correlation analysis was run according to the tooth type,the best age correlative index were T2', S2', TCI' (incisor and canine), CCP', EP', E' (premolar), and TP2', S2', EPWNL'(molar) successively.

[WTHResultsThe population doubling time of MEC-1 and Mc3 cells were 30.0 and 26.4 h, clonogenecity were 1.2% and 14.2%, respectively. The expression of SSTR1 and SSTR2 in MEC-1 cells were 82.6% and 81.7%, respectively, and was nearly 0 in Mc3 cells. The specific binding of MEC-1 cells to RC-160 was much higher than that of Mc3 cells. ConclusionThe highly metastatic potential of Mc3 cells may be related to the lack of somatostatin receptor and low binding efficiency to somatostatin analogue RC-160.

目的 探讨人涎腺粘液表皮样癌细胞系 (MEC 1)及人粘液表皮样癌高转移细胞株(Mc3)生长抑素受体 (SSTR) 2种亚型 (SSTR1、SSTR2 )的表达 ,及两者与SSTR的放射配基1 2 5I RC 16 0的结合差异。方法 ①采用细胞计数法、软琼脂法等观察MEC 1及Mc3细胞株生物学特性 ;②以原位杂交法检测MEC 1、Mc3细胞株SSTR1及SSTR2亚型的表达情况 ;③以放射配基结合分析法分析MEC 1、Mc3细胞与1 2 5I RC 16 0结合情况。结果 ①MEC 1、Mc3细胞生长稳定 ,Mc3细胞较MEC 1生长速度略快 ,克隆形成率高 ;②MEC 1细胞高度表达SSTR1及SSTR2 ,表达率分别为 82 .6 %和 81.7% ;Mc3细胞未见 2种亚型表达 ;③MEC 1和Mc3细胞与1 2 5I RC 16 0的特异结合率分别为 (2 3.8± 9.4 ) %和 (3.2± 2 .3) % ,差异有显著性 (P <0 .0 1)。结论 MEC 1高度表达SSTR1及SSTR2 ,其与SSTR配基RC 16 0的特异结合率显著高于Mc3细胞。

BACKGROUND:The bridge role of cytoskeleton in the conduction of mechanical sig nals becomes an emphasis in osseous biomechanical researches recently.OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of different forces on the expressions of osteo blast tubulin and type I collage in the culture in vitro.DESIGN:A non-randomly control study was conducted. SETTING and PARTICIPANTS:This study was completed in the Department of Oral Bi ology,College of Stomatology and Department of Oral Biology,Fourth Military Medi cal University.Subjects were 6 SD rats with either gender obtained from Center f or Experimental Animals of Fourth Military Medical University.INTERVENTIONS:Shearing force and static pressure were inflicted on the 3rd gen eration of rat osteoblasts separately.The expressions of tubulin and type I coll agen of different time after pressures were assayed by immunohistochemical ABC a nalysis through image analyzer and the staining tone values were recorded for st atistical analysis.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Staining tone values of tubulin and type I collagen were measured.RESULTS:The staining tone value of tubulin in shearing force group after 12 ho urs and static pressure(>20 kPa) group after 6 hours were 152.3±21.5 and 148.7 ±29.1 respectively, and both of them increased at different degrees.The stainin g tone values of type I collagen increased at different time after pressure in s tatic pressure group(>20 kPa), but no distinct changes in shearing force group.CONCLUSION:The mechanic signals of stress forces with different characteristic s can be conducted inside osteoblasts in similar ways through microtuble, but th e collagen synthesis changes might have differences due to different characteris tics of stress forces.

背景:细胞骨架在力学信号的传递中如何发挥桥梁作用是近年骨组织生物力学研究的一个重点。目的:研究不同应力对体外培养的成骨细胞微管蛋白和I型胶原表达的影响。设计:非随机对照实验研究。地点和对象:实验由解放军第四军医大学口腔医学院修复科和口腔生物教研室完成,对象为新生SD大鼠6只,雌雄不限,由第四军医大学动物实验中心提供。干预:分别给第3代的大鼠成骨细胞施加剪切力和静压力,用免疫组化ABC法检测加力后不同时间微管蛋白和I型胶原的表达情况,通过图像分析仪测定并记录各组染色的灰度值,进行统计分析。主要观察指标:微管蛋白染色和Ⅰ型胶原染色灰度值。结果:剪切力组作用12h、静压力组(>20kPa)作用6h后微管蛋白的染色灰度分别为152.3±21.5和148.7±29.1,均有不同程度的增加。静压力组(>20kPa)作用后不同时间,I型胶原的染色灰度均增强,但剪切力组变化不显著。结论:不同性质的应力可能以相似的方式通过微管将力学信号在成骨细胞内传递,但所引起的细胞胶原合成的变化却可能因力的性质不同而存在差异。
