In the present work the interaction between the Na4Sn9 Zintl alloy extract in en and complexes M(acacen)(M = Cu,Ni) as well as Ln(fod)3(Ln= Pr,Yb,Eu) has been investigated by multinuclear magnetic resonance. The interpretation of the findings is discussed in terms of the NMR theory of paramagnetic ions and in relation to the magnetic properties of the complexes.
