The results showed that resources availability influenced niche matrices greatly. The adaptability of dominant populations varied in different resources spaces. In the same resources space, there was no positive correlation between niche breadth and niche overlap of a species countserpart. The niche overlap between Chinese fir and the same other tree species varied in different resources space. The relationship between niche overlap and competition was influenced by the bio-characteristics of tree populations greatly. The results of the study can be applied for the management of mixed forests.

Base on 170 plots of Chinese fir nature mixed stand which were in different altitude resource spaces,the niche and competition relationship between Chinese fir and its 19 main associated species in Chinese fir nature mixed stand were analyzed by using the method of niche space compartmentalization and Lotka-Volterra competition model,the results showed that:the niche breadth values and the niche overlap values of Chinese fir and its associated species in Chinese fir natural mixed stand varied in a certain range, the resuts of the competition between Chinese fir and its associated species differed with associated species. Seen from the final results of the competition between Chinese fir and its associated species in the current stage,it could be concluded that there was a distance from a steady state of the interspecies relationship between Chinese fir and its associated species in the communities.

在调查不同海拔资源空间的杉木天然混交林 1 70块样地的基础上 ,采用生态位空间分割法与Lotka-Volterra竞争模型 ,分析杉木与主要的 1 9个伴生树种的生态位和竞争关系。结果表明 :在杉木天然混交林中 ,杉木和伴生树种的生态位宽度与生态位重叠既有较大的也有较小的。不同伴生树种与杉木的竞争结局是不一样的 ,从现阶段杉木与伴生树种的最终竞争结局来看 ,可认为该群落中杉木与伴生树种的种间关系离稳定阶段尚有一定距离。

Based on the principle of niche space compartmentalization, the characteristics of multi-niche breadth and multi-dimension overlap of dominant populations in the mixed Phyllostachys heterocycla communities were studied. The results showed that resources availability affected niche breadth greatly. Multi-dimension niches of dominant populations in the mixed P. heterocycla communities were nearly correlated with biologic characters and competition of species. Multi-niche overlap in the same habitat decreased competition by differentiating niche. The results of this study can be applied for the plantation of mixed P. heterocycla forests. Tab 8, Ref 24
