The basic concept and technical approach for development of software was described. And the software was applied to evaluate a number of the geological and mining data obtained in this investigation. An objective criterion for selection of mining technology for mining gently inclined and inclined coal seams was established. And a classification system of mining and geological conditions in terms of mining technology was proposed. It provides an advanced technical approach for establishing a system for evaluation of coal mining conditions of coal mines in China.
