The shape design of attachment post is crucial factors influencing post retention and stress distribution to the dentin. By means of CAD and FEA, the present study investigated the effects of the shape designs of attachment posts on the stress distribution in dentin. The results indicated that the taper post had wedging effects on the dentin and produced higher Von Misses stress than that of parallel side post and the Von Misses stress value of the dentin was about 1.1 times. By means of CAD and FEA, the present study investigated the effects of the shape designs of attachment posts on the stress distribution in dentin. The results indicated that the taper post had wedging effects on the dentin and produced higher Von Misses stress than that of parallel side post and the Von Misses stress value of the dentin was about 1.1 times. The maximum Von Misses stress value that the design of the thread post produced was about 1.06 times the stress of the nonthread post did. However, the effects of post design on the dentin were minor compared with the bite force directions. In the same post design, the maximum Von Misses stress in dentin with 45 degree oblique force was about 2.1 times with vertical force. Therefore, reducing oblique force is the main method to prevent root fracture in clinic.

In order to known how post materials influenced dentinal stress distribution,the models of maxillary central incisor restored with porcelain fused to metal crown and post of 4 different materials were constructed by using the three dimensional approach with finite element method,and whose 4 different posts were SDA Ⅱ alloy post,composite resin post,the inner Ni Cr alloy with the outer resin post and the inner SDA Ⅱ alloy with the outer composite resin post. The results showed that metal post with high elastic modules reduced the peak of dentinal stress to some extend but changed the pattern of the stress distribution with high stress concentrating at the border between the post and the dentin. The resin post with low elastic modules would not alter the original inclination of the dentinal stress distribution,but had little influence on lessening the dentinal peak stress. Furthermore the compound resin post strengthened with metal alloy restoration did not cause stress focusing on the dentin around the post,on the other hand,the inner alloy structure enhanced the post itself. The results suggest mechanically that the inner alloy with the outer composite resin post is possibly a good post design.

选用计算机建立上颌中切牙金属烤瓷核桩冠三维有限元模型,分别分析SDA-Ⅱ型中熔合金桩、复合树脂桩、Ni-Cr高熔合金内层加复合树脂外层复合桩及SDA-Ⅱ型中熔合金内层加复合树脂外层复合桩修复后的牙本质应力分布状况。结果表明:金属桩降低牙本质应力峰值作用较明显,但改变牙本质内原有的应力分布模式,在桩与牙本质交界处出现应力集中现象;复合树脂桩不改变牙本质内原有应力分布模式,但降低应力峰值作用不明显;而复合桩一方面避免了桩与牙本质交界处出现应力集中,另一方面具有较单纯的复合树脂桩更好的强度。从力学角度分析提示:金属内层增强的复合桩可能是一种较理想的桩设计
