The whole paper is devided into five parts:(1) fundamental formulas for the false twist calculation;(2) several types of false twist devices;(3) derivation of function T_2;(4) calculation of twist number;(5) example.

A number of large-scale and systematic tests are conducted herein under the various conditions on the amount of twist in the cotton OE yarn cross-section by means of a describe tracer fiber method In so doing, the relationships between the number of cotton yarn rex, the twist multiplier in metric system, the centrifugal force of the yarn and the effect of false twist of the funnel, on the one hand, and the amount and distribution of twist in different segments of the OE yam cress-section on the other, have been established. On this basis, a regressive equation of the relations between the four variable factors as above-mentioned and the designed twist as well as the practical twist of OE yarns are indicated. With this equation, it is, possible to find out the practical twist of OE yarns directly from the four factors under the actual spinning conditions and the designed twist of these yarns. At the same time, the standard for proper representation of the OE yarn twist are also obtained by actually measuring the twist in OE yarn cross-section. It is intended to form a foundation for further studies on the measuring device of the OE yam twist, with a view to accomplishing the instrumentation in production.

本文是作为气流纱捻度问题研究的第一部分基础性工作,着重研究棉气流纱截面内捻回的大小和分布情况。我们通过用示踪纤维浸没描迹法,大量和系统地测试了在各种条件下的气流纱截面内捻回的大小,并得出棉纱号数、公制号数的捻系数、纱条离心力和阻捻盘的假捻效应等因素与气流纱截面内各区捻回大小和分布的影响关系。在此基础上建立了上述四因素变量与气流纱的机器设计捻度和气流纱实际捻度之差的回归方程。可以从此方程中,根据四个因素的具体纺纱条件和机器设计捻度直接求出气流纱的实际捻度。同时,又从气流纱截面内捻回的实际测定,得出正确代表气流纱捻度的标准,这就为进一步探求工业生产实用化的气流纱捻度测定方法和设备作了工艺上的准备。
