A digital scrambling and descrambling method using horizontal blanking intervals is proposed in this paper.It features the sufficient utilization of the characteristics of high speed SRAM′s available currently,the use of a single chip of SRAM for both reading and writing digital TV signals,and the simplification of the circuit.The principle of the system,the timing sequence of reading and writing in SRAM and hardware design of related circuits are described in this paper.
