The extracellular Mn-peroxidase secreted by Pycno-porus sanguineus K-2352 in high-nitrogen medium under absolute dark condition was studied. Results showed that the activity ofMn-peroxidase in the culture was near 94.5%and depended on the presence of Mn ̄(2+) the Mn-per-oxidase was capable of oxidizing Mn ̄(2+)to Mn ̄(3+). Two components obtained from the culture solu-tion by DEAE-sepharose chromatography and HPLC had a absorption at.406nm。
