During two years period of 1984—85, split plot experiments with two factors, covering the soil surface with different colour plastic films, and different sowing time, were carried out in Brassica pekinensis. The effect in avoiding aphid and preventing virus disease of both films was obvious: avoiding aphid about 57.5—68.7% according to the total aphid quantity, the index of the damage by aphid was 52.5—55.4% comparing with uncovered fiedls, preventing virus disease about 74.5—85.1% according to the disease...

The peak of migrating of alatae into B.pekinensis was from early mid-Spt. to late mid-Oct. Adequate postponement of the sowing stage of B.pekinensis is not able to make its seedling stage to escape from the peak migrating stage of alatae in the suburbs of Yangzhou City. The number of times to controll aphid with pesticides in the B.pekinensis fields covered with plastic films was reduced to once or twice, from 5 times in the uncovered fields.

Tests in four cultivars of Chinese kale with different sowing time show,that flowef stalks can formation when sowed at any time from July to December in Guangzhou, and those sowed before October grow be-tter and their flower stalks are also heavier. But the quality of flower stalks are not better with earlier time.

本文以芥蓝4个品种的分期播种试验探讨了不同品种、花芽分化期和植株生长与菜薹发育的关系。结果表明,早、中、晚三个品种在广州地区7-12月播种都能形成菜薹,以10月以前播种的植株生长良好,菜薹产量较高。7-8月播种,植株和菜薹都较发达,菜薹质量不是越早播越好。11月以后播种,生长和菜薹发育都不很理想。 4个品种分期播种的花芽分化和菜薹发育的变化表明,适时的花芽分化,才能使菜薹发育良好,否则对菜薹的发育不利。 植株重量,叶面积大小与菜薹重量的相关系数分别为0.8767和0.3598呈显著的正相关,因此,花芽分化后,特别是过早或过迟花芽分化后,菜薹的发育因菜薹形成过程的生长程度而不同。
