Influences of fluorine-polluted waste water and gas on the health of livestock and its living environment were investigated, The waste water and gas were sampled from phosphate fertilizer plant, aluminium and fluoride products factories in some parts of Hubei province. Owing to the waste water and gas containing fluoride contaminated the environment, the contents of fluoride in the soil, water, forage and feeds were markedly increased. Industrial fluoride is especially toxic o buffalo. The main svmptoms were mottled teeth (over 60% of the cases) and skeletal fluorosis(about 10-30% of the cases). Affected animals also showed rough hair, poor condition, reduced and even lost of working ability。 Buffaloes which lived in the industrial fluoride polluted areas contained high concentration of fluoride in urie and skeletans. The contents of fluoride in the serum and hair were higher than that of the nonpollution area ( P<0.01).Suggestions were made for the protection of livestock environment from harmful effects of the industrial fluorine pollution.

本文就湖北地区部分磷肥厂、铝厂、氟化物制品厂等含氟废水、废气对畜牧生态环境的污染和对家畜健康的危害进行了调查分析。结果表明,工业氟污染对家畜引起的中毒危害多见于耕牛,主要临床表现为氟斑牙(患病率60%以上)及氟骨症(患病率约10~30%),并呈现被毛粗乱、消瘦、使役能力下降等。氟污染区耕牛的尿氟及骨氟含量显著增高。血清及被毛中氟含量比非污染区有所增高。尿中羟脯氨酸含量(8岁以上水牛)亦显著高于非污染区。文中还提出了防止工业氟污染危害的措施。
