The authors, by photoelastic technique, make an experimental investigation in the stress distribution on the new type circular-arc-teeth synchronous belt. Compared with the L type trapezoid-teeth-and the HTD circular-arc-teeth-synchronous belts, the new type belt is characterized by the optimum geometric parameters of the tooth profile, which result in optimum stress distribution and less stress concentration, and is desirable to use on pumping units.

从梯形齿同步带的几何非线性问题入手,以弹性平面问题的有限元法解平面应力问题为基础,引入梯形齿同步带的几何非线性有限元解法。用此方法对梯形齿同步带一个齿上的平面问题的应力分布进行了有限元分析研究。最后,通过一个具体算例求出梯形齿同步带一个齿上的最大应力点及应力分布规律并与弹性平面问题的解进行了比较。
