(S)general combining ability is of great importance in plant breeding.Combination for disease resistance always have a parent which has the low general combining ability for disease index, while high yield combination at least has a parent with a high general combining ability for yield. ( 4 )general combining ability has a significant positive correlation with the performance of parental characters. This paper carries on analyse of heredity parameter for four fruit characters of green pepper. single fruit weight, length, width and thickness of fruit flesh. The result showes. 1 . The Vg/Vs ratio of four fruit characters is large. It showes that these characters are effected largely by addition effect. Generally a combination with the parent which has higher cooperated ability, the reality measure value of this character of it's F1 is high too. The total effect value of every character's cooperated ability showes extreme remarkable positive correlation with reality measure value. 2. The narrow hereditary capacity of these four fruit characters is higher, so most of the variation of these four characters can be heritable to proginy stably. From the expression of the F1, the trend of F2' expression can be forecasted. 3. The own generation of the four fruit characters showes remarkable positive correlation, we can infer relavant expression of F1 by its parent's average value (MP) .

本文对青椒单果重、果长、果宽和果肉厚等4个果实性状的遗传参数进行了分析.结果表明:①4个果实性状的Vg/Vs比值均大,说明这些性状受基因加性效应影响大.一般配合力较高的亲本参与的组合,其F_1在这一性状上的实测值也较高.各性状配合力总效应值与实测值呈极显著的正相关.②4个果实性状的狭义遗传力较高,因此这4个性状的变异,大部分可固定遗传给后代,由F_1表现可以预测F_2表现的趋势.③4个果实性状的亲子间呈显著正相关,可根据双亲的平均值(MP)推断F_1相应的表现.
