Thispaperoffersa surveyof collegestudents'translationcompetenceby analyzinga recentCollegeEnglish TestBand4(CET4).Takingtranslationteachingas partof theentiresystemof CollegeEnglishTeaching,theauthor arguesthatthe students'weak performancein thesetranslationtestsrevealssome drawbacksin CollegeEnglish Teachingandputsforwardsomesuggestionsfordealingwiththesedrawbacks. 本文对近期大学英语四级考试所反映的考生翻译能力普遍低下的问题作了分析。笔者认为,造成目前CET4考生翻译水准低下的原因主要有二:一是教学指导思想上重视不够,二是四级考试指挥棒的负面作用。文章通过CET4考试中所暴露的问题,分析揭示了大学英语翻译教学中所存在的弊端,并提出了加强大学英语翻译教学的几点看法。 With the purpose of improving the students' weak physical function, a 10-week intensive training was carried out for 26 female college students who failed to pass the P.E. examination. The result shows that every physical target such as vtial capacity, back strength, hold strength, PW170, pulse, fat, 6min running distance, can be changed, function of vital and heart be better and physical strength and quality be improved. It indicates that improving the students' weak physical function...
