The formation conditions and distribution environments of coalbed methane in China are very complicated, so that it is very important for the coalbed methane exploration evaluation to investigate its enrichment units. According to the particularity, complexity and distribution law of coalbed methane in China, its enrichment units were divided into five grades, i.e. methane-bearing province, methane-bearing basin, methane-rich region, methane-rich zone and methane reservoir (field).

An installation of splint supported liquid membrane(SSLM) extraction was designed and fabricated acting as an in-line enrichment unit of the flow-injection fluorophotometric instrument for the determination of traces of aniline in water.Tributylphosphate(TBP) was used as the mobile carrier and kerosene as!the membrane solvent in the liquid-membrane extraction system.Aniline in the sample was separated and enriched when passing through the SSLM unit,in which HCl solution(pH 3) and NaOH solution(pH 11) were used as the inner phase and outer phase respectively.The optimum concentration of TBP in kerosene was found to be 12% and the time of enrichment to be 10 min.The fluorescence intensity of aniline was measured at λ_(ex) 282 nm and λ_(em)(345 nm) in an alkaline medium of pH 11.Detection limit of the method was found to be 0.2 μg·L~(-1).Linearity was kept in the range of 1 to 150 μg·L~(-1) of aniline.In the application of this method to the analysis of river water for its aniline content,RSD′s of less than 5% and recoveries between 97.6% to 100.6% were obtained.
