Cardiovascular diseases have been proved to be one of the main causes of death. Intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP) is the only mechanical cardiac assist device in widespread clinical use. As balloon configuration and control have great influence on IABP effectiveness, to provide the most possible benefits of IABP, we use a non-linear multi-element digital hemodynamic model and simulation method to optimize configuration and control parameters of multi-chambered balloons. Cardiovascular diseases have been proved to be one of the main causes of death. Intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP) is the only mechanical cardiac assist device in widespread clinical use. As balloon configuration and control have great influence on IABP effectiveness, to provide the most possible benefits of IABP, we use a non-linear multi-element digital hemodynamic model and simulation method to optimize configuration and control parameters of multi-chambered balloons. We use a model with 11 aortic segments, a heart-lung circulation and lumped venous and peripheral system. (Based on a model developed by Jaron et al.)The results of our simulation experiments show that the greatest benefits can be obtained when: (1)the distal chamber of the balloon is inflated the first and deflated the last, (2)the volume of the distal chamber equals to 35% of the total volume, (3) the radius of the distal chamber is larger than that of the other parts of the balloon and is close to the radius of aorta. Under such circumstances, multi-chambered balloon pumping can provice 15-17% greater Qp than that of same volumed single chamber balloon.

主动脉内气囊反搏(IABP)在临床中的应用非常广泛,是心血管病治疗的重要手段。我们利用心血管系统的计算机仿真模型,研究了主动脉内气囊的造型及控制参数对反搏效果的影响,并对上述参量进行了一系列优化,结论如下:无论双腔、三腔还是多腔气囊,尾囊的作用最为关键,如能保证其体积适当、直径略小于气囊的其他部分、且最早充气、最晚排气,得到的反搏效果将明显优于单囊反搏的情况。

The cerebravascular disease is very related with the abnormal hemodynamic state of cerebral circulation. There are some different characteristics between the cerebral circulation and the systemic circulation of human.In clinical application, it is necessary to set up a hemodynamics model which not only has the principal characteristics of the cerebral circulation but also can be used easily to analyse the cerebravascular dynamics index(CVDI). According to the steady flow model of Willis circulation, we set up a lumped parameters model for analysing the cerebral circulation pulstile flow, and get its governed equations as well as its solving method. Preliminary results of our experiment show that the theoretical conclusion agree with the experiment data. It reveals that the present analysis is consistent with the physiological phenomena, and may offer a delicate hemodynamic model for cerebral circulation research.

脑血管疾病和脑循环动力学异常改变密切相关.脑循环系统和体循环系统具有不完全相同的血液动力学特性.因此,临床上迫切需要一种既能反映脑循环的基本特性,又容易从中分析脑血管动力学参数的力学模型.本文在Wilis环定常流模型的基础上,建立了描述脑循环血液脉动特性的集中参数模型,归结出了模型控制方程及求解方法.通过实例计算发现:理论计算结果和实验检测数据相当吻合,说明模型是符合生理实际的.这将为脑循环研究提供一个较理想的血液动力学模型

In this study a hemodynamic model is provided to simulate the hemodynamics of main vessle and tissuses in abdomen with portal hypertension. The normal situation and portal hypertension without bypass and portal hypertension with bypass have been considered. The results show that this model is feasible. They also show both "forward" and "backward" flow theory played in portal hypertension.

门静脉高压症是腹部血液循环系统主要疾病之一,常引起胃底静脉曲张、出血等严重后果。本文提出了一个血液动力学模型,模拟研究门脉高压时腹部各主要血管及组织的血液动力学变化。研究中考虑了正常情况,门脉高压但尚未形成侧枝循环情况,以及门脉高压已形成侧枝循环情况,并且考虑了门脉高压的“前向血流学说”和“后向血流学说”。结果表明本模型基本上正确,对门脉高压症应综合考虑“前向血流学说”和“后向血流学说”。
