Abstract The purpose of the study was to clarify whether the noncollagenous proteins play a role in bone mineral redistribution during simulated weightlessness. Abstract The purpose of the study was to clarify whether the noncollagenous proteins play a role in bone mineral redistribution during simulated weightlessness. Noncollagenous proteins,such as bone Gla protein(BGP)and albumin,have been shown to be effective in promoting bone mineralization. In this study ,the contents of BGP,albumin,glycosaminoglycan(GAG) and mineral in the sixth thoratic vertebra(T 6) were determined in rats suspended by the tail for 21 d.The concentration of blood parathyroid hormone(PTH) and calcitonin(CT) were also determined. The results showed that the concentration of CT was significantly increased, but PTH had no significant change in the suspended rats.The contents of GAG,albumin and mineral were significantly increased in T 6 of the suspended rats,but the BGP content had no significant change. The data indicate that the mineral redistribution is related to the increase in albumin of bone mass.These results do not support the idea that bone mineral redistribution during simulated weightlessness is resulted from the increase in osteoblastic activity. $weightlessness simulation bone mineral redistribution albumins osteocalcin calcitonin parathyroid hormones

为了解悬吊模拟失重环境下骨非胶原蛋白变化对骨矿盐再分布的影响,观察了模拟失重21天大鼠第6胸椎(T6)中骨BGP、白蛋白、氨基多糖(GAG)和矿盐含量变化,以及血甲状旁腺激素(PTH)和降钙素(CT)含量的变化。结果显示,悬吊大鼠血CT浓度显著升高,PTH浓度无变化。悬吊大鼠T6中GAG、白蛋白和矿盐含量显著增加,但BGP含量无明显改变。结果表明,悬吊模拟失重大鼠骨矿盐再分布与骨质中白蛋白含量增加有关。该结果不支持模拟失重大鼠骨矿盐再分布与成骨细胞活性增加有关的观点。

To understand the pathogenesis of ectopic osteogenesis in muscle,ligament and articular capsule and the action of chondrocytes in these endochondral osteogenesis,bovine bone morphogenetic protein(bBMP)was used to induce embryo articular chond rocytes cultured in vitro,The results showed that under the induction of bBMP primary,cultured chondrocytes gradually changed their shapes into osteoblast-like cells,the expression of alkaline phosphatase of these cells increased obviously,and the calcium and matrix deposits arround the cultured cells were also increased remarkably,Under the induction of bBMP, articular chondrocytes began to express osteocalcin which was a spec ific marker for osteoblasts and bone matrix,These results showed that embryo articu lar cbondrocytes had begun to express the phenotypes of osteoblasts and differentiated to osteoblast-like cells under the influence of bBMP. It was suggested that, chondroc ytes might be able to play an active and important part in ectopic bone formatian and other kinds of endochondral osteogenesis, but not simply differentiated towards hypertrophic chondrocytes and then degenerated,and necrosed in the end.

To observe changes of biochemical markers of bone turnover in osteoporotic bone matrix after renal transplantation, osteocalcin, bone alkaline phosphatase(BAP), PICP (carboxyterminal propeptide of type I procollagen), ICTP (carboxyterminal cross-linked telopeptide of type I collagen), parathyroid hormone (PTH) and 25-hydroxy-vitamin D (25 OHD) were measured in 7 patients with osteoporosis followingrenal transplantation (median 6 months, range 1 to 72 months). Using restrictive criteria for defining the presence of osteoporosis when bone mineral density (BMD) measured using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry lay more than 2 SD below the mean of normal subjects of the same age and sex. Mean serum values of bone formation markers such as osteocalcin, BAP, PICP, and bone resorption marker such as ICTP were significantly higher in patients group than those of 38 noormal subjects. Serum PTH and 25OH D levels were normal. These data suggested that this osteoporosis after renal transplantation is associated with a high bone turnover (elevated osteoblastic and osteoclastic activity) without secondary hyperparathyroidism and abnormal vitamin D metabolism.

应用放射免疫分析法和免疫放射分析法对7例已确诊有骨质疏松症的肾移植患者进行血清骨代谢指标检测。结果表明患者成骨细胞活性指标(血清特异性骨碱性磷酸酶、骨钙素和Ⅰ型前胶原蛋白羧基末端前肽)和破骨细胞功能指标(血清Ⅰ型胶原交联羧基末端肽)明显高于正常对照组。患者血清甲状旁腺素和25羟维生素D水平正常。提示肾移植后伴骨质疏松症患者的成骨细胞活性和破骨细胞活性明显增高,但无继发性甲状旁腺功能亢进和维生素D代谢异常
