A series of pot experiments and field plot experiments were performed. Pot experiments were performed either sterilized the soil of the whole pot 126℃ for one hour in trn autoclave,or partial sterilization of the pot soil 105℃ for ten minutes.Both treatments showed good results of forage growth when sown with grass seeds and without nitrogen fertilization.Small plot field experiments without soil fertilization were also performed at the same time. Results of the pot experiments from 1979,1981,and 1984 all appeared good seed germination,good growth,good tillering,high chlorophyll contents of the leaves,and increased heights of the plants.Field plot experiments showed the same results. Digitaria is a graminaceous forage commonly grown wild in southern China.This forage is palatable and especially rich in protein.By inocula- tion,treated Digitaria increased the above ground yield by 30% to 60% in comparison with the check experiment.So,it is speculated that inoculation of root nodule bacteria that promote the growth of this grass may be of interest to maintain fine pasture grassland for grazing.

从马唐根瘤中分离、纯化了若干细菌性菌株,其中马776菌株性状稳定,且易于培养和保存。盆栽和田间小区试验表明,用马776菌株接种马唐,可提高出苗率,促进马唐提早分蘖和增加分蘖数,增加植株高度和茎径。叶绿素含量比对照增加37.1%,地上部产量比对照增加30~60%。

The results showed as follow. The feeding quantity, forage growth accorded with the physiological request of the sheep in all year.Sheep herding accorded with change of the climate.

本研究表明,绵羊春、夏、秋、冬四季的采食量与牧草生长和绵羊生理需求变化一致;绵羊放牧与气候环境的变化一致。
