This paper analyzes the improvements of starting performance of the mode 485 diesel engine by improving the construction of the swirl chamber. The sphere-cone-flat bottom swirl chamber made of new designed swirl chamber insert is called the QZ-type swirl chamber. Its parameters are the volume ratio Vk/Vc = 37.3%; the compression ratio ε= 20.5; the passage-area ratio fk/Fp = 0.96%; the dipping angle of the passage, α=40°, the radius of the element of the sphere-cone of the insert, R = 30.5mm; swirl ratio Ωc≈46; the cone-shaped starting hole 30°×φ2mm, the dipping angle (β=60°. The cold starting performance of the diesel with the QZ-type swirl chamber is superior to that of the diesel with the co-met-V-type (that is,the original diesel) or with the D-type, for it is easily started without preheating at 10℃ temperature. On therated speed load performance curv e,the specific fuel consumption (ge) of the diesel with "QZ" is 194.8g/PS·h, that is 8.2g/PS·h less than the original diesel at the rated horsepower 37PS. On the full load speed performance curve, the maximum horsepower (Nemax) is 42.8 PS, that is 1.5 PS more than the original diesel at n=2100rpm. The above conclusions have been verified by testing and computing.

本文主要分析从改进485型柴油机涡流室式燃烧室的结构来改善起动性。由新设计的涡流室镶块所构成的球锥形平底涡流室称QZ型涡流室式燃烧室。它的容积比V_k/V_c=37.3%;压缩比ε=20.5;通道面积比f_k/F_p=0.96%,通道倾斜角a=40°;镶块球锥面的母线的半径R=30.5mm;涡流比Ω≈46;漏斗形起动孔30°×φ2mm,倾斜角β=60°。装有QZ型涡流室的冷机起动性能较好,在气温10℃时,不用预热即可顺利起动,显然优于具有彗星Ⅴ号涡流室的原机或改装D型涡流室;在标定转速负荷特性上,在标定转速标定功率37PS时测得燃油消耗率g_θ=194.8g/PS·h,比原机降低8.2g/PS·h;在外特性上,当n=2100rpm时,测得最大功率Ne_(max)=42.8PS,比原机增加1.5PS。上述的结论已由实验和计算所证明。

Study of swirl-chamber insert material develops a thermofatigue parameter [TF] for evaluating its thermof atigue performances. Simulated thermof atigue test' on inserts, and proof test in diesel show that the parameter [TF] will predicate its thermof atigue performances. Insert material developed from its [TF] value shows satisfactory performances meeting the requirements of small-and-medium diesels.

本文对涡流室镶块材料进行了研究,提出了评定镶块热疲劳性能的条件参数[TF]。热疲劳模拟试验和装机试验表明:[TF]值能预测涡流室镶块的热疲劳性能。根据材料的[TF]值研制的10号镶块材料具有较高的热疲劳性能,能基本满足中小功率柴油机的要求。

In this paper the testing equipment for simulating the heat crack on the swirl chamber insert is presented, the experimental results are analysed. The work being done provides a basis for rationally selecting materials and structure of the swirl chamber insert.

介绍了涡流室镶块热裂模拟试验装置,分析了试验结果,为合理选择镶块材料和结构提供了依据。
