We conclude that the differen-ces among the goblet cells are due to the uneven distribution of (1) different types of antigens in the granules of different cells, (2) the same antigen in the grasnles of different cells, and (3) the same antigen in different granules of individual cells.

Objective We studied the physical and chemical characteristics of the receptor for bovine rotavirus and the distribution of the receptor on the tracheal mucous membrane. Methods The methods of SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis,enzyme digestion assay and solid phase assay were used to analyze the purified receptor for bovine rotavirus.The receptor on the cell surface of the tracheal mucous membrane of neonatal bovine was verified by immunohistchemistry method. Results The receptor molecular weight was 48kD on SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.It was sensitive to trypsin and Pronase E.Treated by the neuraminidase from Clostridium perfringens or Arthrobacter ureafaciens, the receptor lost its biological activity of binding virus.The assay result of immunochemistry was positive. Conclusions All these results above showed that the receptor for bovine rotavirus was a kind of glycoprotein with a complex structure.Sialic acid remnant is infected to be a main part of the receptor site reacting with bovine rotavirus.The receptor for bovine rotavirus has existed on the cell surface of the tracheal mucous membrane of neonatal bovine.

目的分析牛轮状病毒受体的理化性质及该受体在气管粘膜组织的分布。方法采用SDS-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳法(SDS-PAGE)、酶消化法、固相分析法对纯化的牛轮状病毒受体进行分析,以免疫组化法检测了新生牛气管粘膜细胞表面牛轮状病毒受体。结果牛轮状病毒受体SDS-PAGE分子量为48000,该受体对胰蛋白酶及PronaseE蛋白酶敏感,经Clostridiumperfringens及Arthrobacterureafaciens神经氨酸酶作用后,受体失去结合病毒的生物学活性。免疫组化试验结果为阳性。结论实验结果表明牛轮状病毒受体是结构复杂的糖蛋白,唾液酸残基是受体与牛轮状病毒作用位点的组成部分。新生牛气管粘膜细胞表面有牛轮状病毒受体存在。

Objective:Under the guidance of traditional Chinese medical theory of improving the general condition to eliminate pathogens,to study the effects and mechanism of Manzhi Guben Granule(MZGBG),a Chinese tonifying drug in pre- venting respiratory infection.Methods:Chronic bronchitis model rats and mice infected with inhalational pseudomonas aeruginosa were treated with MZGBG,and examinations were done on:(1)Quantitative determination of bacteria in bronchial tissue culture;(2)Pathologic change of epithelial mucous membrane of trachea and(3)Scanning electron mi- croscopic observation on ultrastructure of tracheal mucous epithelium and its condition of bacteria adhering.And the results were compared with those of non-infected animals.Results:Pseudomonas aeruginosa couldn't adhere to the intact mucous membrane of normal rats and mice,hut could adhere to,settle down and multiply on the infected mucous membrane ep- ithelia,and thus results in a state of long-term bacteria carrier.MZGBG could reduce the degree of pathologic changes of trachea.Conclusion:MZGBG could protect tracheal mucous membrane from bacteria adherence by repairing the pathologic changes.

目的:以中医扶正祛邪理论为指导,进行补益中药抗呼吸道感染的实验研究。方法:应用慢支模型鼠,经气道吸入法感染绿脓杆菌,并在设定的条件下,(1)取实验动物气管组织制成匀浆作细菌定量培养;(2)取气管组织作病理切片,检查粘膜上皮的病理变化;(3)取气管组织作扫描电镜检查,观察粘膜上皮超微结构及细菌粘附于粘膜上皮的情况,据此研究绿脓杆菌感染机理及中药慢支固本冲剂的治疗作用。结果:绿脓杆菌不能粘附于正常鼠完整的气道粘膜,而可粘附于慢支模型鼠病变的粘膜上皮,并定居、繁殖造成长期带菌。结论:给服慢支固本冲剂,能使病变粘膜上皮复愈,从而抵抗绿脓杆菌的粘附。
