In this paper a method of determining the degree of freedom of motion of framed structures is presented. All the framed structures, plane or space, rigid or hinged, may be analyzed with this method. In this paper a method of determining the degree of freedom of motion of framed structures is presented. All the framed structures, plane or space, rigid or hinged, may be analyzed with this method. The principles involved are based on the conception of freedom of motion of structures mentioned in U. S. S. R. literatures. An extension of that conception is made in this paper.From the known U. S. S. R. structural literatures available in China, it seems that the conception of freedom of motion is applied only to hinged structures, or to bar chains, of which the individual members have no redundants. Therefore it is the purpose of this paper to extend that conception to any structures, hinged or rigid.Two methods, which may be used parallelly, are treated and two illustrations are given, are in this paper.

本文述一檢定結構自由度之方法。所有桿條結構,不論立體平面,鉸接剛接,均可應用本法,所根據之原理,係由蘇聯建築力學中自由度之觀點出發,而加以擴充。文中述及二種方法,可以平行應用。不論平面結構,立體結構,鉸接結點,剛接結點,均巳涉及,並將結構內外部之自由度,視爲一事。文中準對二種方法,舉有二個例題,以為驗算之用。

Heavy damage was done to pasture land by Gomphocerus sibericus L.. Thisspecies is characterized by the swellen terminal segments of the antennae. Inthe male individuals, the tibiae of the fore legs are also enlarged. 4. Dociostaurus kraussi Ing. may be identified by the presence of an X-shaped marking on the pronotum and the much eniarged markings on themetazone. 5. Ramburiella turcomana F-W. has a slant face Which meets the vertexat an acute angle. Besides the X-shaped marking on the pronotum, there isanother broad line running along the median ridge. 6. The distinguishing Character of the grasshopper Oedaleus decorus Germ.is the blackish band that runs across the hing wings. A simplified method for computing the end moments and thrusts in continuous arches is presented in this paper. This is a modified successivecorrection method, and is superior to the usual methods in the following two respects: (1) the distributions of moments and thrusts are independent of each other; (2) the distributions are carried at the tops of piers instead of the so called "neutral points", and the procedure is first to balance the unbalanced moments and thrusts of the joints in a very simple manner without...

This is a modified successivecorrection method, and is superior to the usual methods in the following two respects: (1) the distributions of moments and thrusts are independent of each other; (2) the distributions are carried at the tops of piers instead of the so called "neutral points", and the procedure is first to balance the unbalanced moments and thrusts of the joints in a very simple manner without any relation to individual members, and after few cycles of operation, we add the results and obtain the total unbalanced moments and thrusts of the joints, from these quantities the end moments and end thrusts of individual members can be obtained at once by formulas. The speed of convergence is rapid and the required work of computation is greatly reduced especially for multiplespan continuous arches.

本文提出一種連續拱的新分析法,這是一種經過處理後的逐次校正方法,它具有下列幾個特點:(1)撓矩與推力之分配各不相涉;(2)分配工作仍在墩頂進行,並將連接於墩頂之各構件間的關係隔開,因而使收斂速度增加,計算工作得大形簡化。為說明簡明起見,本文先就各拱相同和各墩相同的情形出發,但其原則完全可應用到一般性的情况上去。
