We have identified thesources of particulate in both Haigang and Shanguan districts of Qinhuangdao city and quantified thecontribution of different source types to receptor concentrations.We have also investigated the effectof the largest coal dock in China-Qinhuangdao Coal Dock on background dust and the carbon elementin total suspended particulate(TSP).It showed that the major source of TSP in both Haigang andShanhaiguan districts was wind blowing and background dust, then the coal-combustion ash and seasalt.We also know that weather conditions especially wind direction can easily affect the source contributions of TSP.Finally we draw a conclusion that Qinhuangdao Coal Dock is the major source ofthe carbon element in TSP in this area and the levels of both Haigang and Shanhaiguan districts affected bv the Coal Dock are different under different weather conditions.

1992年11月至1993年2月在北京市5个采样点采集了大气小颗粒物(<20μm)样品和总悬浮颗粒物样品,并采用等离子体发射光谱分析小颗粒物的化学成分,将其结果应用于化学质量平衡法解析污染源.主要结果,秋季各污染源的贡献率:尘土为159%、燃煤为283%、燃油(汽车尾气)为541%、钢铁工业为15%:冬季各污染源的贡献率:尘土为192%、燃煤为377%、燃油(汽车尾气)为426%、钢铁工业为03%.
