Eighteen phenols were spiked into drinking water and pure water at the levels of 0.33 and 1.0 ppb, respectively, and the recovery of the method was found to be in the range of 75 to 90% with a maximum relative standard deviation of 14%. The method has been proved to be quite sensitive for determining traces of phenols in drinking water and river water.

A flow injection method for fluorimetric determination of phenols in river water and waste water was developed. The fluorescence of phenols was measured at 299 nm (excited at 269 nm).The new method is simple, rapid and sensitive. The sampling frequency is 120 hr-1.The calibration graph is linear up to 100 ppb phenol concentration and the detection limit is 0 .7 ppb. This method was compared with an official 4-aminoantipyrine (4-AAP)method.

本文以测定299nm酚的荧光(激发波长为269nm)为基础,提出了一个适于测定河水和工业废水中挥发性酚的流动注射荧光分析方法。该法具有简单、快速和灵敏的特点。当酚含量在0—100ppb时,荧光峰高与酚浓度之间有良好的线性关系。该法的采样频率为120h~(-1),检测限为0.7ppb。并将该法与4-AAP萃取比色法进行了比较。
