This paper studies the biomass of Pinus kesiya var. langbianensis stands which, with an elevation 890~ 920 m, locate in Xiaoheijiang district, Puer County, Yunnan. The results are as follows. 1. The total biomass of stands increases while that of needles decreases as the stand age advances. The total biomass and needle biomass of 12-aged stand are 109.7630 t/ hm2and 4.5307 t/ hm2, those of 23-aged stand are 137.6486 t/ hm2and 3.4861 t/hm2. 2. The allocation order of living biomass to community layers is: tree layer >shrub layer >herb layer. 3.
