In the paper, the dynamic model of a electric power steering system is founded, based in the model, a compensator is designed to control the vibration of the steering system. According to the simulation and analysis, the conclusion can be made as follows:the compensator is efficient in improving the stability of the electric power steering system.

Because of the inherent disadvantages in fuel consumption and environment pollution, a traditional hydraulic steering system could not meet above requirements. Therefore, an electric power steering (EPS) system, in which a compound control method with assisted and damping modes was adopted, was developed in this paper. Based on the analysis and calculation of two operating modes, an amendatory method was presented for duty and control mode determination. The bench tests proved that the return ability of the EPS system under rapid steering had been greatly improved by this servo control technique.

针对电动转向系统原有单一控制方式的不足 ,根据直流脉宽调制伺服系统工作原理 ,提出了一种带有助力和阻尼两种模式的综合控制方式。通过对两种模式分别进行分析计算 ,提出了一种针对占空比和控制模式的修正方法。台架性能试验验证表明 ,采用这种伺服控制方式 ,电动助力转向系统快速回正时的平稳性有所提高。
