Knowledge representation plays an essential role in building expert systems. Some knowledge-based expert systems are developed by authors for problem in the domain of earthquake engineering. A framework for knowledge representation by employing power mode of thinking is proposed in this paper. The kernel of suggested methodology is to reflect the fact that experts always make judgement from the relationship between all involved factors, not from individuals of them by using an approach to synthesize their influence without considering the interaction of them. In this paper by employing a set A∈ J(X), X-Universe of discourse containing all factors in the antecedent of a statement "IF……THEN……".We can describe the relationship and interaction between factors xi∈Aj, Aj ∈A The statement "IF A1, A2, ……, An THEN c" will be matched by fact S(?) {x1,x2, …… xn} and a series of membership degrees MAi(xi) will be obtained. Thosefactors which have values of membership degree greater than the thresholds given respectively to each factor constitute a subset A'. If A' ∈A, then the fuzzy measure g(A') is calculated according to the rule for selected suitable kind of fuzzy measure from a given generalized weight vector W. Then W is adjusted by using g(A'). Finally, synthesis will be carried out on all factors in the antecedent in accordance with W. Obviously, such a framework can be used to consider the interaction of involved lactors. Some simplified examples are given to depict the practical use of presented method.

建造应用于地震工程领域中的专家系统,首先需要解决好知识的描述。本文提出幂态思维作为描述领域知识的框架,很好地解决了产生式“IF……THEN……”语句中各个前提之间的复杂关系,即各个因素之间的内在联系的表达方法问题。文中举出了地震工程领域中实用的例子,并正在运用这一知识描述框架建造地震工程中的若干实用的专家系统。

The quantitative recognition of potential earthquake sources has been studied by fuzzy-reasoning and power mode of thinking,that is,synthetic consideration of various factors at the same time. Thus a foundation for determining the parameters of earthquake sources is laid. Therefore the method is scientifically sound and practical.

本文以华北地区为例,探讨了从模糊推理原理和从幂态思维即综合考虑各因素影响的角度,进行潜在震源区的定量划分问题.结果表明,该方法能较好地反映人们现阶段对地震构造、地震活动等潜在震源区特征的认识,合理考虑因素间的影响,给出数值化的分析结果,为今后震源参数的确定打下基础,因而较具科学性、实用性.

Controlling power according to law is not only the summary of ruling experience of the Communist Party of China, but also the legal construction of China and development inevitably. Insisting on controlling power according to law will refresh the legitimacy foundation of the party in power, meanwhile, party in power mode of thinking and working way should comply with the law of construction ruled by law to change in good time,too.
