To improve remotely sensed imagery classification accuracy is one of the main topics in the field of remote sensing application research. Integrating geographic data, interpretation knowledge used by expert, a new method was proposed. In classification procedures, DEM, slope and previous land use data were used as well as imagery, knowledge was represented by rules. The method has been approved to be effective to improve the classification accuracy compared to a Maximum Likelihood Classifier.
