It was prepared through the reaction of iodine with a nonionic surfactant and some otherlingre-dients at 25℃-27℃. The recovery rate of iodine in the product was 83% and the preparation with 1.5-2.0% available iodine was relatively stable when stored at room temperature, 37℃, and 50℃. Dianxiaoling, a kind of iodophors, is intended for use as a teat dip to prevent bovine mastitis. It was prepared through the reaction of iodine with a nonionic surfactant and some otherlingre-dients at 25℃-27℃. The recovery rate of iodine in the product was 83% and the preparation with 1.5-2.0% available iodine was relatively stable when stored at room temperature, 37℃, and 50℃. For field uses it was to be diluted with water to the concentration of 0.5% available iodine. In vitro tests, disinfections of excised teats and in vivo teats with the dilute Dianxiaoling showed that the disinfectant had a strong bactericidal effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Escherichia colt, Bacillus cercus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. A field trial indicated that it caused no irritation or other side tffects on the teat skin. There were also no abnormalities on the skin after its use during winter time. After a six-month's field experiment with Dianxiaoling, the incidence of subclinical mastitis as determined with Hangzhou Mastitis Test in the dipped group was reduced to 48.8 % ( 25.3-69.9 % ) in comparison with the control group (P<0.01 ) . It was also found that the disinfectant could be used continuously as it was seldomly influenced by organic materials existing in the solution. Dianxiaoling is, therefore, considered to be a new type of postmilking teat dtp with strongb actericidal effect and suitable for practical application with safety.

In a field trial, 47 dry cows with 177 quarters were intramamtnarily infused at dry off with compound norfloxacin preparations, mainly consisting of norfloxacin and TMP, as a trial group, while the other dry cows with 153 quarters were intrama-mmarily infused with such drugs as penicillin and streptomycin or the teats were seated with aureo-mycin ointment, as a control group. As a result, the incidence of clinical mastitis in the trial group was reduced by 72.6% in comparison with the control group (P<0.01 ) . Milk sample bacterial examination indicated that the rate of positive quarters of 76 quarters in the trial group after calving was reduced by 58.7% compared with that before dry period (P<0.01 ); however, of 44 quarters in the control group, the reduction was only 12.5% ( P>0.05 ) . The results shoved that the compound norfloxacin preparation had good effects on dry cow therapy.

The study on etiology and epidemiology of cow mastitis was done at forty dairy farms in thirty cities .3650 strains of 24 species of bacteria and funguses were isolated and identified from 3006 milk samples. 2060 strains of 12 species were closely related to cow masritis. The isolation rate of pathogenic bacteria was 62.5%.Bacteria related to mastitis mainly were streptococcus agalactiae (38.11%), streptococcus dysgalactiae (28.20%), staphylococcus aurens (17.43%) eschrichia coil (7.14% ) and streptococccus uberis (4.03%) etc. The checking data system for pathogens of cow mastitis has been set up accordig to dBASEⅢ. The result showed that isolation rate of pathogens of mastitis related to factors such as types of mastitis, different periods of lactation, etc "Procedure in isolation and identification of bacteria of cow mastitis" has been established.This research has provided the scientific base for drawing up the comprehensive measure to prevent and treat cow mastitis and some reliable methods to monitor parhogens in milk.

本项研究是在对23省、市、自治区,30个城市40所大中型奶牛场所作的乳房炎流行病学调查的基础上,采集奶样3006份进行细菌的分离和鉴定,以探讨我国奶牛乳房炎常见病原菌的区系分布。结果分得细菌和霉菌共24种3650株,其中与乳房炎有密切关系的病原菌12种2060株,病原菌检出事为62.52%。主要为无乳链球菌、停乳链球菌、金色葡萄球菌,大肠杆菌和乳房链球菌等。并建立了dBASEⅢ“奶牛乳房炎常见病原菌研究资料数据库检索系统”,制定了“奶牛乳房炎细菌的分离和鉴定程序”,为进一步综合防治奶牛乳房炎提供科学数据,并为乳汁的病原菌监测提出可靠的检验方法。
