The result of the analysis from the optical microscope differs from the image analysis. There are so many personal factors in the qualitative analysis by optical microscope that it because quite imperative to research for a new diagnosing way. The synchronization of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis can correct the personal errors in qualitative analysis. It will be very useful for directing the clinical practice and the judgement of prognosis.

The authors divided the 25 OSF into two groups according to the course of the disease. 7 out of the 8 cases of early stage OSF(87.5%)had a positive result of TGFβ1 mRNA expression, out of the 17 cases of advanced stage OSF, however,8 cases(47.0%)showed positive. The difference of TGFβ1mRNA expression between the two groups was significant (p=0.0262 α=0.05). The study suggests that TGFβ1 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of OSF.The TGFβ1mRNA expression level is high during the early stage and declines gradually as the disease develops. It shows that TGFβ1may participates as a mediator in the fibrotic process of OSF.

Majority of 30 cases of squamous cell carcinoma were positive stained by immunohistochemical stain, but the stain degree was different relating to different differentiation degree of tumor. A heavy and even membrane stain was found in the high differential epithalial cell of carcinoma nest, and an uneven and thin linear stain pattern was present in the epithelia cell membrane of the low differentiated carcinoma nest, while the carcinoma epithelia in the metastatic nest was lightly stained with CD44 v6. The experiment indicates that expression of CD44 v6 is significant in carcinoma differentiation, invasion and metastasis.

应用CD44v6单克隆抗体对30例口腔鳞状细胞癌进行了免疫组织化学研究。实验发现:CD44v6在正常口腔粘膜上皮中的基底细胞层及近基底1/3的上皮细胞膜上呈阳性表达,上皮表层细胞几乎呈阴性表达。在30例鳞状细胞癌的免疫组织化学染色中大部分鳞状细胞癌的癌细胞染色阳性,但染色强度随肿瘤的分化程度不同而不同,分化高的癌巢上皮细胞膜染色均匀而浓重,分化差的癌巢上皮细胞膜染色弱而呈细线状,转移灶内癌巢上皮CD44v6染色较弱。实验表明:CD44v6的表达在判断癌的分化、浸润、转移中有重要意义
