The photovoltaic characters of the sandwich cell,SnO_2/chla/PVA/SnO_2,were reported.Themechanism of photovoltaic effect of the cell was discussed,so that the dark rectifying effect wasexplained and the charge seperation under irradiation was occured at the junction of chla/SnO_2.We measured the output parameters of the cell,and improved the cell efficiency by adding hydro-quinone and so on into it.As a result,the short current and power conversion yield were increasedover one digital order.

A photoelectrochemical cell formed by Chla and Safranice T (ST) has been studiedin this work. The photovoltaic characters of the cell were reported. The results indicatethat ST has a great effect on the Voc and Isc of the cell. Voc and Isc of the cell are 6 to8 times and 2 to 3 times higher respectively than without ST. Power conversion efficiency was above 10-3%. The mechanism of photovoltaic effect of the cell was discussed.

本文研究了叶绿素a和藏花红T组成的光电化学电池.报道了电池的光电特性.发现藏花红T对电池的开路电压和短路电流有很大影响.较纯粹的叶绿素光电池开路电压增大6~8倍,短路电流提高2~3个数量级,光电转换效率达10-3%.分析了光电池光电效应增加的原因.
