A general survey of black plating both at home and abroad is given. Black Ni and black Cr, two main kinds of black platings, mostly used in the auto industry, are studied. As to black Ni, in order to speed up deposition and obtain a finer crystal layer, it is suggested to add an organic amine complexing agent DL into the conventional bath. As a result, the current density permitted can be raised to 0.4-1 A/dma from 0.12-0.4 A/dm~2, For black Cr, it is proposed that some organic...

A general survey of black plating both at home and abroad is given. Black Ni and black Cr, two main kinds of black platings, mostly used in the auto industry, are studied. As to black Ni, in order to speed up deposition and obtain a finer crystal layer, it is suggested to add an organic amine complexing agent DL into the conventional bath. As a result, the current density permitted can be raised to 0.4-1 A/dma from 0.12-0.4 A/dm~2, For black Cr, it is proposed that some organic acid and flurocompound 417~# with a higher instable constant should be add to make the coverage over 95%, and to accelerate the deposition, so that the average thickness may be doubled, and the surface hardness as well as corrossion resistance be able to meet the requirments.

本文首先回顾了国內外在黑色镀层方面的概况,然后对汽车工业中最常用的两种黑色镀层:黑镍和黑铬进行了研究。对于黑镍镀层,作者提出在传统的配方中添加有机胺络合剂DL,使允许的电流密度范围从原来的0.1—0.4 A/dm~2提高到0.4—1A/dm~2,提高了沉积速率并使镀层结晶细致。对于黑铬镀液,作者提出了添加有机酸和络合常数相当大的含氟化合物417~#,使镀层复盖率达到95%以上,沉积速度加快,平均厚度增加一倍,满足了对表面硬度及耐蚀性的要求。

The operation process and the bath control or maintenance of blackening conversion of Zn plating are described in detail for practical use. Through the contrast tests, it is considered that alkaline zincate bath with DPE-3 or ZB-80 as brightener is better than ammonium chloride bath for the conversion. The thickness of Zn-plating about 10-15μm would be preferable. Cl~-, NO_3~-, and Fe~(2+), Cu~(2+) would not be allowed to exist in the bath, because Cl~- would make the bath useless due to the resulting precipitation,...

Cl~-, NO_3~-, and Fe~(2+), Cu~(2+) would not be allowed to exist in the bath, because Cl~- would make the bath useless due to the resulting precipitation, and the others would do harm to the uniform and appearance of the film. Through moist test and salt spray test, it is found that the corrosion resistance of the blackening Zn plating can meet the requirements and be able to substitute black Ni and black Cr, while its cost is cheaper.

本文从生产实践出发,较详细地介绍了镀锌黑色钝化的工艺及槽液的维护和管理。通过对比试验,认为采用DPE-3、ZB-80为光亮剂的锌酸盐镀锌比铵盐镀锌的钝化效果好。锌镀层的厚度最好在10~15μm。钝化液中不得含有Cl~-,NO_3~-以及Fe~(2+)和Cu~(2+),否则会影响钝化膜的色调及均匀性,Cl~-离子会使钝化液产生沉淀而失效。通过潮湿试验及盐雾试验,认为镀锌黑色钝化的耐蚀性并不比其它发黑工艺差,可以取代镀黑镍、黑铬,而成本却较低。
