The effects of carbonized rice hulls (CRH), sawdust and their mixtures on the physiological characteristics and yield of tomato were investigated in autumn and in spring from 1987 to 1989. The experimental results showed that the yield of tomato plants grown in the mixture of CRH and sawdust at the rate of 2:1 Ⅴ/Ⅴ were 39—48% more than those of control (CK) in soil or sawdust at two seasons, the plant height, number of flower cluster and fruit cluster, fruit number and bleeding intensity of tomato plants...

The experimental results showed that the yield of tomato plants grown in the mixture of CRH and sawdust at the rate of 2:1 Ⅴ/Ⅴ were 39—48% more than those of control (CK) in soil or sawdust at two seasons, the plant height, number of flower cluster and fruit cluster, fruit number and bleeding intensity of tomato plants grown in the mixture were more than those of CK. Dry weight of plant and roots were 59% and 78% higher than those of CK, respectively. The number of green leaves, chlorophyll content of leaves, the maximum and the mean length of roots were also higher than those of CK till the end of harvest. Moreover, the reason for yield increased of mixture substrate culture are discussed.

稻谷壳灰.锯木屑以及两者不同的配比混合物作为塑料大棚无土栽培番茄的基质,其中以两者体积为2:1的混合基质表现最好,三年两季产量都比对照(园土)和锯木屑基质增产39~48%,番茄的植株高度、花序数、果穗数、座果数以及伤流强度都高于对照;全株和根系的干物重分别比对照增加59%和78%;绿叶数和叶片叶绿素含量及根部最长根长度、平均根长也超过对照并持续到拔株期。此外,对混合基质无土栽培增产的原因进行了讨论。
