    This paper addresses the problem of evaluating quantitatively radar capability in marine atmospheric ducts environments. The proposed method combines the parabolic equation model of radio propagation in the troposphere with the radar receiver theory,and the maximum detection range characteristics of radar can be obtained through setting thresholds on the electromagnetic wave propagation loss distribution in actual ducts environments.

This paper is concerned with the optimum waveforms foe detec- tion in reverberation environment,under a maximum detection factor criterion with an energy constraint. It is shown that optimum waveforms are the solutions to homo- geneous nonlinear integral equations,with the least eigenvalue.The kernels of these integral equations are the covariance functions of interference(reverberation plus ambient noise).In this paper,itera- tive procedures for solving these nonlinear integral equations and finding sub-optimum signals are described.Examples are worked out for a reverberation channel with first order Butterworth Doppler- spread function.The detection performance of transmitted waveforms found by iterative procedure is compared with that of a number of conventional waveforms.

探测深度和分辨率是深地雷达的两项重要指标,本文分别对无载频脉冲探地雷达的探测深度和分辨率进行了分析,北出了影响雷达探测深度和分辨率的因素,并利用2.5维时城有限差分(FD-TD)方法对雷达的探测性能进行了数位模拟计算,给出了地下单体目标和多作目标的回波信号电平图,并将部分计算结果与实验测试结果进行了对比,二者具有比较好的一致性。
