Raising the thought of multi model automatically adapted compression and designing a classified search method basing on the relative moment of image sub block have improved simple fractal compression to automatically adapted fast compression, thus the resumed image quality and compressing pace have been greatly improved. When the compressed scale was about four, the result approaches JPEG standard.

简述了分形及随机迭代函数系统 (IFS)的基本概念 ,然后从灰度图像自动压缩的角度研究分形的应用 ,提出了多模式自适应压缩的技术 ,设计了建立在图像子块相对矩基础上的分类搜索算法 ,把简单分形压缩改进为自适应快速压缩 ,使恢复图像质量和压缩速度均有大幅度提高 ,并在压缩比为 4倍左右时 ,其结果接近于 JPEG静止图像压缩标准。

Since Mandelbrot presented the concept of fractals in the middle of 1970's,it has been applied widely in various study fields.In this paper,advance of fractal studies in geological hazards,including earthquake,volcano eruption,landslide and debris flow,is summarized and remarked,and it is suggested that the correla tion between the studies about geological hazards and modern fractal theory is a trend which is to be,although the conditions of fractal application in this field is comparatively simple.Further more,its future application is also prospected as floows:firstly,fractal study on the time series of geological hazards should be carried out,secondly,fractal model about geological hazards should be constructed,thirdly,fractal characteristic of economic lose made by earthquake,volcano eruption,etc,should be studied too,thus,great progress may be made about the application of fractal theory in geological hazards.

自 Mandelbrot于 2 0世纪 70年代中期提出分形概念以来 ,已以众多学科领域得到了广泛的应用 ,在地质灾害这一研究领域亦不例外。本文根据相关研究文献 ,总结了分形理论在包括地震、火山喷发、滑坡、泥石流等在内的各种地质灾害研究中的应用进展 ,指出分形理论在地质灾害研究中的应用 ,固然程度还较浅 ,基本上是处于起步阶段 ,但二者的结合则是一个必然的趋势 ;同时还指出 ,现阶段在加强地质灾害基本分形性质研究的基础上 ,必要的研究方向将是进行各种地质灾害时间序列的分形研究和构建各种地质灾害发生的分形模型 ,以及进行各种地质灾害所造成的灾害损失的经济分形研究等 ,如此地质灾害研究领域中的分形理论应用才有可能不断地深入发展
