The experimental results showed that the power steering gear had good response characteristic and force characteristic and their symmetry characteristics were 98.15% and 96.37% respectively.

Furthermore,the whole adhesive bolted laminated joint structures can be divided into several repeat subdomains because of the cyclic symmetry characteristic of the joints,therefore,the whole analysis procedure can be greatly simplified.On the basis of the theories and methods described above,a computational program for stress analysis of the adhesive bolted joints of the plate and shell structures has been developed.As numerical examples,some typical laminated joints are studied,and the stress distributions of the joint structures are presented.The discussion conclusions drawn in the paper are useful for researchers and designers of the engineering composite structures.
