In this article, endosperm shush grains of eleven lines in multiplasmic maize were studied by scanning electron microscope. The results show that different cytoplasm has different effects on the characters of starch grain. The starch grains of three sweet corn cytoplasmic lines (sh1, sh2, bt1) are mainly spherical and packed tightly, which means they have some degree of similarity. While the grains of four cytolasmic male sterility lines (T, S, C, 21A) are mostly irregular and packed loosely except (T) Mo17,...

Zea luxurians and Zea diploperennis are wild species in teosinte and have close relations with cultivated maize.These two species,with 20 chromosomes and strong tolerance to stress,are important germplasm resources that can contribute great properties to maize genetics and breeding.In this research,the chromosomes of Zea luxurians and Zea diploperennis were introduced into the elite inbred lines of cultivated maize by cross-backcross,then embryonic calli were induced from the immature embryos of descendants of the hybrids.Plantlets were regenerated in a great deal from the embryoic calli,then transplanted in field.The effects of genotypes and the combination of phytohormones on the induction and subculture of embryonic calli,and the regeneration of plantlets were studied.The value of plants regenerated from the calli was analyzed for the improvement of maize.

繁茂大刍草 (Zealuxurians)和二倍体多年生类玉米 (Zeadiploperennis)是栽培玉米的野生近缘种 ,其抗逆性强 ,染色体数目也与玉米相等 (2n =2 0 ) ,是玉米重要的种质资源 .本工作通过远缘杂交、回交等技术将野生种染色体引入到玉米骨干自交系中 ,然后取幼胚诱导胚性愈伤组织并再生出大批植株 ;研究了基因型和培养基激素组合对胚性愈伤组织诱导、继代和植株再生的影响 ,以及体细胞再生植株的利用价值 .
