The sensitivity fault is described by H _- index, and the robustness of residual to unknown input signal is denoted by H _∞ norm. Therefore the design problem of fault detection observer can be described as an optimization one. After the design of linear matrix inequality-based fault detection observer is studied, the solution of optimal observer gain is given, and the existence condition of its solution is also derived. The designed fault detection observer has high sensitivity to faults and strong robustness to unknown inputs.

针对线性时不变动态系统,构造一个线性全阶输出观测器,获得包括扰动、噪声、建模误差等未知输入信号和故障信号的残差动态特性,选用残差对故障信号的H-指数描述其对故障的灵敏度,用残差对未知信号的H∞范数表示其对不确定因素的鲁棒性,将故障检测观测器的设计描述为一个优化问题。研究了基于线性矩阵不等式的故障检测观测器设计,给出了求解最优观测器增益的方法,并证明了该解存在的条件。实践结果表明,应用该方法所设计的故障检测观测器灵敏度高,对干扰信号具有强鲁棒性。
