But the basis of the 3D solid modelling is the operation about the primitive solid.In this paper, some theories about them are presented according to the quadric solid modelling system (ASMS) and the plane solid modelling system (PDLS) which are all developed by the author. And some definitions are given,from which some conclusions are proved.The final part of this paper shows some of the pictures produced by running ASMS and PDLS.

当前,计算机图形显示技术中的重要课题之一是三维几何造型技术的研究,它不仅是构造真三维图形软件的基础,而且也是CAD/CAM技术中的关键技术.作为三维几何造型的基础是体素及其对体素的各种拚合运算.本文以作者在微型机上研制开发的二次曲面体造型系统ASMS和平面多面体造型系统PDLS为实验基础,探讨了三维几何造型技术中体素及其拚合运算的基本理论.从三维形体及其它的正则性到体素及其拚合运算都给出了较为确切的定义,并对由某些定义推出的若干结论进行了详细的证明.在本文的最后给出了根据这些基本理论研制的ASMS系统和PDLS系统运行的部分结果.

In 2D system, we mainly explained three methods of generating 2D graphs (graph description, geometric drafting, and graph set operation); the method of 2D graph editing and the method of dimension and character marking. In 3D system, we mainly described the algorithm of solid modelling by performing set operation among basic geometric solids (cuboid,cylinder,prism,sphere and ring), parallel sweeping solids,and deformative sweeping solids;the algorithm of convex hull tree subdivision; The feature of deformative sweeping;and the method of finding the intersection of free-formed surface and functional surface.

This article is to introduce the tcchnigue for CAD mechanical graph operation, aiming at employing computer to perform planar drawing and 3-D solid modelling, producing 2-D and 3-D part drawing and assembly drawing for machinery products. Three 2-D graph generating methods (graph description. geometric drafting and set operation) are introduced. BReps is adopted to show 3-D solid bodies, and the theories and algorithm of the convexpolygon subdivision and convex hull tree subdivision are put forward to operate 3-D part and assembly drawing under unified train of thoughts, thus rot only prorrotirg the speed of algorithm and operation function, but also making the structure compact.
