The critical temperature was 39-40℃ and it was the pollen-mother-cell stage sensitive to this effect.Induction of fertile yellow anthers in male sterile lines by high temperature revealed that the plants itself contained the substances to form fertile yellow anther, and the male fertile gene was normal, even though they may be inhibited by some inhibitors. This was proved by isozyme electrophoresis bands patterns of yellow fertile and white sterile anthers of male sterile lines in uninucleate pollen stage that were similar to those of the normal plants of the maintainers. When samples were taken at trinucleate pollen stage, some bands of the white anthers disappeared, while those of the yellow anthers of male sterile line were still maintained as in male fertile lines i.e. the maintainer.

本文用水稻三系和籼粳杂种半不育株及其亲本为主要材料,阐明;花药可溶性蛋白的含量随不育度的加深而下降,不育系的蛋白含量仅为保持系的18—24%。不育的花药淀粉积累极低。与小孢子发育有关的α—淀粉酶、β—淀粉酶、磷化酶、ATP酶等的活性均不同程度地随着不育度的加深而下降,结合态吲哚乙酸(IAA)量与可育度平行下降。不育的花药的吲哚乙醇氧化酶、IAA氧化酶、过氧化物酶的活性随着不育度加深而提高几倍至几十倍。据此认为雄性不育的起因在于不育花药的IAA库受有关氧化酶破坏而大大亏损。生长素亏损必然带来花药代谢及小孢子发育的异常,从而导致花粉不育。生长素亏损又能反馈于小孢子的信息系统,引起恶性循环。这些相关联的作用是波动性的,因此不育的花药中可包含部份正常花粉。根据以上结果修订了植物雄性不育发生机制的模型(图4)。

The free proteins in mature anthers produced by male sterile line, plants of ms treated by high temperature, and maintainer line(3197B, Kafir)were compared by isoelectric focussing electrophoresis. There are more kinds and more contents strong acidic proteins(pⅠ<4.4) in ms anthers than maintainer line anthers; the kinds and contents of the acidic proteins(pⅠ 4.4—5.5) of ms anthers had roughly like to maintainer line; the kinds of the acidic proteins of pⅠ5.5—6.5 in ms anthers were approximately equal, and the contents were remarkably lower than maintainer. There were more kinds and contents of neutral and alkaline proteins in anthers of maintaintr than ms. The high temperature treatment made the kinds and contents of the strong acidic proteins in yellow anthers reduced, and made the contents of the pⅠ5.5—6.5 a cidic croteins increase; and yield some neutral and alkaline proteins which were peculiar in maintainer line. Some kinds and coutents of proteins were necessary for the formation of the normal, fertile pollens. The high temperature treatment was a regulation for the proteins synthesis and hydrolysis in sterile anthers, and made the sterile anthers fertile at certein degree.

用等电聚焦聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳方法对高粱雄性不育系3197A及其用高温处理的不育株和保持系成熟花药游离蛋白质进行了比较。不育系花药具有种类较多、含量较高的、pI值小于4.4的强酸性蛋白质;pI 4.4——5.5的酸性蛋白质的种类和含量大体与保持系相同;pI 5.5——6.5的酸性蛋白质的种类大体与保持系相同,含量比保持系明显降低。保持系花药具有种类较多,含量较高的近中性和碱性蛋白质。高温处理使不育系所特有的强酸性蛋白质种类减少,含量降低;使p′5.5——6.5的酸性蛋白质含量增加;并产生某些为保持系所特有的近中性和碱性蛋白质。一定种类和含量的蛋白质为形成正常可育的花粉所必需;高温处理对不育系花药的蛋白质的合成和水解起着一定的调节作用,使不育系住一定程度上向可育方向转化。
