This paper has discussed optimal control to the gas supply system with microcomputers. This paper has discussed optimal control to the gas supply system with microcomputers. The optimal control is based on the regression equation in mathematical statistics to calculate the predicted quantities of the applied gas. Three methods of the optimal control are introduced in the paper. The first one talks about the three level calculations of optimal control,which is adapted to a large scale of gas line network with a complex structure,such as a national wide consolidated gas line network.The second is to make a use of the optimization of the network and flow equations to abtain the flow quantities and pressure drop in the sectional lines and the pressure at the junctions, and before controlling, to make a comparison between them and the actual numerical values. The third one is to use mathematical programming methods to set up th emathematical models so as to find out a group of optimal parameters. The three ways above may reduce the total energy consumptions and the total costa to minimum, during the system in operation.

In order to provide a large scale proportional counter array with gas,we have measuredand discussed the influence of gas pressure,temperature,oxygen contamination and variationof composition on signal amplitude of proportional prototype counters.The result providesexperimental data,such as arrangement of counter tubes,gas line connection,leakage rate,al-lowance variation of composition,allowance of oxygen impurity and flow selection,for gassystem design.

为了给一个大规模的正比计数管阵列供气,我们用模型测试了气体压强、温度、含氧量及成份的变化对脉冲幅度的影响,并进行了讨论,从而为管子的安排、气路连接、漏气要求、配气误差、允许氧杂质含量以及流量选择提供了设计依据.
