The vapor-liquid equilibrium data of five binary and one quaternary systems containing tertbutanol, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether ( EG ), water and ethyl tertbutyl ethyl diether ( DT ) , and one ternary system containing tertbutanol,EG and water were determined by using a modifed equilibrium still with double circulator .The mutual solubility, vapor-liquid equilibirium data and azeotropic composition of water and DT were also determined by using liquid-liquid equilibrum still and Pratt still. Optimized by the nonlinear least-squares method, the Wilson and NRTL equations'energy parameters were calculated from the binary experimental data. Predictions of vapor-liquid equilibrium were made for the ternary and quaternary systems. Bubble temperatures and vapor compositions predicted were showing a good agreement with the experimental data.

The data of vapor - liquid equilibrium (VLB) for tetrahydrofuran-cyclohexane-water ternary system were measured by circulation method at 101.32 kPa . The energy parameters of NRTL equation were fitted from the experimental data of two binary systems optimized by the nonlinearleast-squares method .The bubble temperatures and the vapor compositions predicted showed a good agreement with the experimental data .
