It is found that for any given Mn concentration x the spin-glass transition temperature T_f, of Zn_(1-x)MnxSe is higher than that of Cd_(1-x)Mn_xSe.

The magnetic properties of the spin glass La FeyNis-y (0.5≤y≤1.1) are reported. The spin freezing temperatures, Tf, in these alloys have been measured.
