The problem of the optimal assignment of fire powel when heavy weapons fire at small area target has been resolved by A.N. Kolmogorov and his students. When the target area is large, this problem used to be discussed under the condition of uni-form assignment of fire power.

This paperdiscusses how that new weapon processor was integrated into the existing AH-64 centralcomputer archietecture,decoupling the fire control function from the central computer with- out changing any of that computer' s software. The specific research task involved air to airfire control using the AH-64’turreted 30 mm cannon.

Artificial intelligent technique is one the most effective ways used tosolve the problems of airborne weapon fire command and control.In this paper the con-struction and concept of intelligent airborne weapon fire command and control system(I-AWFCCS)are technically overviewed according to the results of research in recent yearsand critical techniques in IAWFCCS design are discussed
