     The fluctuation spectrum random trajectory model of the particle motion in shear turbulent flow is developed using Lagrangian method, in which the velocity fluctuation of the fluid is determined by Fourier expansion and fluctuation spectrum. The comparing analyses of the modeled results with the measured results have shown that the model developed in this paper can describe well the motions of the particles in shear turbulent flow.

The particle velocity and concentration distributions are obtained by means of the volume average method. The Laser Diffraction Measurement technique and the color-changeable high speed stroboscopic photography system are employed to measure the gas-particle co-axial jets. The numerical results agree well with the experimental data. Finally, the authors engage in a lot of predictions of the pulverized coal two-phase co-axial jets.
