Employing IBM PC/XT personal computer and nonstandard circuits,an integrated system for the control,data acquisition,and processing for the γ ray nondestructive monitoring and troubleshooting of both packed and trayed distillation columns was realized. The hardware system is composed of the scan- ning lifting mechanism and its controlling circuits,the radioactive measurement instruments,the paral- lel interface with a counter,and the IBM PC/XT personal computer system. The software system con- sists of the controlling and sampling program, data processing program,and plotting program. Combined with the controlling and sampling program,the hardware system can perform automatic zero point set- ting,positioning,the empty and full column count calibrations,and single-route and dual-route scan- ning. A two-level Chinese character menu form was adopted to make the operation procedure easy and convenient. The sampled data were stored in the binary format with the aim to save external room of the computer. These data could be further processed to output the position-pulse data files or the posi- tion-density data files,which could be taken as the input by the plotting program to give graphical ex- pressions of the scanning data. The success of the hardware system and software system stated above has been evaluated in a bench-scale packed distillation column and a bench-scale trnyed distillation col- umn and thus would provide a basis for further industrial application of the γ ray scanning technique.

In present paper, an integrated software system for the γ ray nondestructive monitoring and troubleshooting of both trayed and packed distillation columns was realized on the IBM PC/XT personal computer. The software system consists of the controlling and sampling program, the data processing program, and the plotting program. In present paper, an integrated software system for the γ ray nondestructive monitoring and troubleshooting of both trayed and packed distillation columns was realized on the IBM PC/XT personal computer. The software system consists of the controlling and sampling program, the data processing program, and the plotting program. With the support of the controlling and sampling program, the hardware system can automatically perform axial elevating and locating, one-way or return scanning, empty and full column reading calibration. The Chinese character menu driven user interface made the operation easy and convenient. The sampled data were stored in binary data files and could be further processed by the data processing program to output the position-pulse data files or the position-density data files, which were served as the input of the plotting program. The plotting program Grapher developed by Golden Software Inc. has been employed to process the scanning data and thus the position-pulse curves or the position-density curves could be produced. These curves make it possible to analyse the hydrodynamic behavior and malfunction of distillation column in operation.

本文在IBM PC/XT个人微型计算机上,开发了γ射线对塔设备体外不停工监测的软件系统,实现了γ射线对塔设备体外不停工监测过程的控制、数据采集和数据处理、绘图。本文着重介绍了该系统的结构与性能。本文所涉及的技术内容经实验验证是切实可行的,该系统的开发成功为将γ射线体外不停工监测技术运用于工业实践提供了基础。
