The development situation of blast furnace hot blast stove for 20 year our country is comprehensively elaborated. It is introduced that the technological methods of obtaining 1200℃ noble characters through the high temperature air combustion(HTAC)technology by the lower heat value gas with independent intellectual property rights technique. Large-scale, diversification and highly effective blast furnace hot blast stove introduction, development and application situation are presented. The metallurgical equipment, the refractory, the drying furnace and the heat preservation technology and the hot-blast stove mathematical model fundamental research progress situation is briefly reviewed. The concept and main characteristic of the ecotype and green hot stoves are put forward.
