The types of polymer blend interface and the theories of interface are reviewed. The factors effect on the blend interface are suggested, and the conditions deduced from the relation between interfacial thickness and interfacial tension in judgement of the compatibility of polymers are given.
By increasing compatibleness and crossing compatilible to the blend interface, interface compatiblestability and stickiness will be strengthened,and rubber micro-zone structure and interface transition zone structure will give full play to toughening result in the blend.
