With KⅠ=K_(IC) as criterion of critical state, the critical size of crack was obtained,and according to the crack size, the safty of gun barrel can be determined. The results show that, with reducing of KIC of gun steel as well as lowering of temperature, the critical crack size is obviously decreased. Therefore, as the strength has met the demand for barrel design,the improvement of the toughness of gun barrel is one of the important way for increasing the safety gun barrel under firing.

测出了两类炮钢的断裂韧性K_(IC)及其随温度变化的系统数据,并由三维有限元、位移法分析求解作为研究对象的某火炮身管高膛压区内表面裂纹前沿的应力强度因子K_I数值,以K_I=K(IC)作为临界状态的判据,判定了身管射击使用安全性。结果表明,炮管射击安全性随炮钢K_(IC)的降低和使用温度的降低而降低。故在炮管设计中,除强度外,应对炮钢常、低温韧性提出定量要求。改善炮钢韧性是提高炮管使用安全性的重要途径之一
