Skin and rectal temperatures, O_2 and CO_2 concentrations in expired air were taken, metabolic heat production rate and heat debt were calculated. Skin temperature of herdsmen was higher than that of soldiers in both series of experiments. Their cold acclimatization was therefore manifested as local vasomotor reaction. 2-4 year soldiers had lowest skin and rectal temperatures, and 4-hour heat debt showing their cold adaptation was insulative hypothermic type.Lowest finger temperature≥1℃, time for temperature restoring during immersions≤7 minutes, Antifrostbite index≥7 might be considered as the criteria for the cold adaptation of herdsmen. An equation involving the highest restoring temperature (X) of the finger immersion and its amplitude (Y) could be used for the discriminant analysis of cold tolerance of soldiers.

An aluminised coat was developed to improve survival ability of the bailed-out pilots in colddistricts. It was concluded that the pilot's survival clothing for cold districts satisfied pilot survival demands in cold districts of our country.

为了改善寒区迫降飞行员的救生能力,我们研制了镀铝大衣,与现行冬季皮飞行服配穿,测定了隔热值并进行了防寒效果评价。结果表明,隔热值为4.24±0.45clo。受试者穿着冬季皮飞行服和镀铝大衣,在-35℃无风条件下暴露8h,直肠温度无明显下降,实验末的平均皮肤温度、平均体温、热债、手和足的皮肤温度都未达到耐限。结论,这种救生服可以满足我国飞行员寒区救生的要求。
